House of Hermeta Holland has just returned from a very successful second edition of Masterly where it showed its collection of exclusive design hooks in the sumptuously decorated Palazzo Turati in the design heart of Milan.

Masterly – the Dutch in Milano, is part of the 56th edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the largest show in its kind showing the latest trends in design, interior design, lighting and materials. The show drew 2000 participants from 165 countries and more than 300.000 design-loving visitors, a large number of which visited the breathtakingly beautiful presentation of House of Hermeta Holland.

But also the press, retailers, gallery owners and curators from Dubai to the United States turned up in large numbers to the Palazzo. The magic word here was ‘design’, from roof to court yard and everything in between. The roof terrace, for the first time open to the public, offered a magnificent view of the city and the Cathedral. The court yard was decorated with the floral covering of designer Edward van Vliet in cooperation with Hay and Ahrend and flanked by borders with 5000 Dutch tulips.

Special Tulips and Gala’s

More tulips could be found on the first floor. Very special tulips… House of Hermeta Holland displayed here a sparkling limited edition: Tulipa Bronze. The design hook, with a mouth-blown flower of Bohemian glass and a stem and leaf of polished bronze, was an eye-catcher that drew the attention of serious buyers. But also the other special edition: the robust Gala Superior Bronze, a massive bronze design hook with a scalloped finish attracted a great deal of attention.

Together with the elegant Tulipa of anodized aluminium with a flower of Bohemian glass in the self-developed colour ‘New Amsterdam’, the special Crude, the gracious Gala and the glistening glass collection ‘Sparkling Objects’ by House of Hermeta Holland’s art director Carina Riezebos, the design brand showed once more the beauty and power of its luxurious ‘jewel’ collections.

All of this was set in a beautiful presentation with an attractive film and a life-size campaign image in which the Tulipa Bronze plays a stylish leading part. Here for we thank model and professional wild water slalom canoeist Lena Teunissen, the Bag museum Hendrikje and photographer Johannes van Camp. House of Hermeta Holland thanks also everybody for their overwhelming interest and visit to our stand at Masterly in Milan!
